The Arundel Strategic Plan is being developed and implemented under the guidelines for the Agricultural Rural Minority Language Community Planning Initiative (ARMLCPI), an Initiative of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) and the Department of Canadian Heritage (DCH) to support agricultural rural minority language communities across the country in the production of community development plans.

Respondents were to rate (assess) the importance of each issue: where

                                                                                1 = Very Important

                                                                                2 = Quite Important

                                                                                3 = Important

                                                                                4 = Not Very Important

                                                                                5 = Of Little Importance.

The responses to 36 items of the Assessment and Inventory Worksheet have been charted under six categories: Environment; Business; Communications; Family Affairs; and Public Security; Sports, Leisure, and Recreation. The table with each graph shows the percentage rating to show the opinion of the importance of the item.

 

In the first item we see that 80 % (35 + 18 + 27) of the respondents rated the item 1, 2, or 3 in importance- Very Important to Important. The item is important to 80 % of the respondents.
